Vintage 1963 Ideal Globemaster C-184-10 USA Military Cargo Plane Tin Litho & Pla

Description

This is a beautiful tin lithograph and plastic Ideal Toy Corp. Globemaster C-184-10 toy military cargo airplane.  This is a large toy with an outstanding tin lithograph wing and twin boom sections bearing US Army Air Force insignia markings.
The cargo fuselage, propellers, and horizontal tail are constructed of heavy plastic.
The plane is in overall good shape.
The nose opens to reveal the cargo bay.
A crack in the nose cone has been glued in the past, but it opens and closes as designed.
There is an ever so slight bend at the left wingtip and a noticeable crease in the right wing tip.

All three rubber landing wheels are intact and roll easily.
The left propeller spins easily and the right propeller turns easily but does not spin.
The wingspan is 22” and its length is 17 ¼”.

2 have re-glued legs; one is missing its head and base; one head is detached but included.
These soldiers and ramp are the more scarce versions made of bright blue plastic.
